Did you know that you can create your own custom rug using the Stanton Carpet Custom Rug Visualizer?
It's a truly useful tool for exploring rug ideas based on available carpet styles from the comfort of your home, and then having the information you need to share with your local flooring retailer.
Big News: Stanton has developed a stair runner visualizer. Check below for more information!
The Stanton Carpet rug visualizer tool is extremely user-friendly and takes the stress out of making a custom rug decision.

In the first step, you select the style and color of carpet you'd like for your rug. If you already know the style and color name, you can simply enter it.
If you prefer to browse and be inspired by what's available, we recommend that you open a second browser window for searching through carpet products.
Once you've selected a carpet style and color, it will populate the Custom Rug Visualizer window as you see in the image below.
Next, you select how you want to finish your rug. The options include:
For all of these finish choices, you get to choose whether to match the prominent background color, the prominent accent color, or another color.
The Stanton Carpet Create A Rug tool offers visual references, so you understand better what these finish options look like.
The two bottom options represent binding options:
Once you've completed those decisions, you get to specify the dimensions of the rug (width and length) and the quantity.
Note that you can opt for a Quarter Turn the pattern orientation, which may reduce waste and cost.
The last decision to make is what kind of backing you want for your rug. The options include:
As with the finish options, the Stanton Carpet tool offers a visual reference as you see in the image below.
When you've completed all of the steps above, the tool offers you space for comments or special instructions.
Then, you save your rug.
Once you save your rug, you're taken to a summary page where you can print the page or email yourself the information. You are now ready to take your creation to the next level by forwarding or sharing a copy of your Rug Quote with your flooring retailer. This is a resource that Floor Decor Design Center customers enjoy using.
If the custom rug you're looking for is a stair runner, they do check out the stair runner visualizer that Stanton has developed.
The tool runs well when you select one of the sample room images (in other words, don't upload your own photo). You can compare several options as you see in the photo below.
We invite you to try these tools. Then, visit Floor Decor Design Center in Orange or Middletown, Connecticut, or contact us with your questions.
